Description
The Majestic Beauty Indian hawthorn is a large evergreen shrub to small tree with a vigorous growth rate and robust foliage and flower character. Large leaves and grow grow 3-4 in. long, are leathery, deep green and have coarsely toothed margins. Large clusters of bright pink flowers cover the plant in early to mid-spring.Majestic Beauty Indian hawthorn can be grown as a mounding shrub 8-10 ft. tall or as a patio and courtyard tree where it can eventually reach 12-18 ft. in height. It is highly adapted to Inland Empire gardens and grow well in sunny locations and with moderate amounts of water. It shows great adaptability to most soils and is a reliable and easy to maintain plant. Good staking is recommended for patio trees to keep the trunk upright and to hold up the canopy.

Maintenance
Plan on early structural pruning as needed to develop good long term from. Proper staking will be needed when young, but remove stakes as soon as the tree can support itself properly so it will continue to develop its own strength. Minor pruning in winter as needed (D).References
