Description
Noel's grevillea is a dense and prickly shrub with a mounding habit growing 3-4 ft. tall, 4-5 ft. wide, with bright green needle-like foliage. Flowers are pink and cream, and provide colorful accent value from winter into spring and intermittently throughout the year. This cultivar originated in California, and has since been one of the most popular choice of Grevilleas for slope, screen and border plantings in the Inland Empire. It has proven to be highly tolerant of sun, heat and periods of drought. It can be clipped to grow as a hedge plant as well as to manage its size.Water Needs
Noel's grevillea is an easy to grow plant in sunny locations on well drained soils and with low amounts of supplemental water during summer. The chart shown below provides a recommended baseline guide to the monthly irrigation schedule and volume of supplemental water needed to maintain healthy growth throughout the average year. It should be noted there are several months indicated by an asterisk (*) when winter rains can provide sufficient moisture and irrigation is not needed. The high and low range of moisture indicates it can grow with varying amounts of water; more moisture during spring helps achieve a more robust and longer flowering cycle.Irrigation Schedule and Graph
